The Kentish Cobnut is a delicious cultivated British hazelnut (Corylus avellena) which has been grown in this part of South East England for hundreds of years.
The Kentish Cobnuts for these Cobnut and Cacao Nib Clusters are expertly-grown, harvested and oven-roasted by Edward, a specialist local nut farmer. They have an intensely sweet and creamy hazelnut flavour which pairs beautifully with my new Peruvian Chuncho Urusayhua 73% (just released as a limited-edition bar).
I combine homemade smooth organic hazelnut butter with cobnut pieces, crunchy cacao nibs and a little salt, for a texture that allows the flavours to change and develop as you enjoy them.
Each Cobnut Cluster has its own unique handmade shape and weighs no less than 15g.
The truffles are freshly-made each week. They will be at their best eaten when you receive them, but can be stored in an airtight container in a cool (not fridge) place out of direct sunlight.
Suitable for vegans. Made without gluten.
